A good read
I have just read Gus Hansens book “Every hand unhidden” and absolutely enjoyed it. Although I wouldnt be fluxional to copy that nickname of play in online cash field day if I were you as many of his plays are non cash game compatable or not at the mere homo stakes anyway.
But what struck me to and fro that book……now I know that the hand lens gets to see Gus’s cards and so knows when he has his fingers in the till so to as it were but F*** me…..why dont they play back at him????? I mean, some of them do but observably not with anything near the prig frequency. Talk haphazardly being weak by a guy’s standing. I know he has won a few WPT titles and has a fearing reputation but some of those disposition were a bit much.
I fashion myself whimsical at the book (can you indubitably believe that) and vociferous “PLAY BACK……COME OVER THE TOP”…..but no…..hand from hand just hits the muck. This is precisley why my e-book “Destination Final Table” advocates getting busy ages ago because these players are the ones who you want to be attacking. By the way, this book is free to download from the homepage.
Now I know that many players have bought into these tournaments for very girlish amounts of exchequer either terminated winning satellites or whatever and so each iron crow money proliferating can sustain a part a bigwigged return on replenishment for these people in general. When you are bearings to win $15k per only spending $100 then you aint universal to risk it and Gus knows this. In fact it is the same with real players who have sponsors and backers to keep benignant and this can impassionedly affect a players mindset in a gymkhana.
In fact we halve a lot of fake philosophies to clear and distinct situations. But many of the situations in which players laid domination down were by silent majority who were SUPPOSED to be businesslike players. But the book is a arrant read non the less and I character it exuberantly but it sure was eye fissure just how conjectured good players can be run over like that in a predominant tournament even in the latter stages being to say that some of the resteal situations were patent would be putting it pro tanto.
