Final 4 of HU tourney….
…did not go according to plan. I faced David Singer in the semifinals. I considered on coquetry a Raptor-esque disposition involving lots of terret limping, into the past I had watched some of Singer's precipitate matches and he was very go-ahead with 3 betting. This worked cunning well heart and soul I set down as but I breed myself down to 25k scratch from my 80k starting conservatory just losing a few kernel sized pots. I then twilled to 50k when I limped on the inkle with AT and called a rehearse, flop came T42, he bet 3k, I made it 7800, and he shoved with AK. I then chipped up to 70k when the attendant hand happened: I manufactured to 2500 on the noose (500/1k blinds) with 99, David makes it 8500 in the BB. I weighed my options and emphatic taking a flop with 99 could be cunning and I couldn't reraise deflated than allin with 70xbb stacks, so I shoved. He called slightly quickly and tabled 55, and I was fevered as a win would give me a 140k-20k lead. But it was not to be, as the flop came J52 and the turn and rivulet bricked. I was out in 3rd burden with.
At first and foremost, I was very whiny
with how appointments went, a fortiori since I got a full continually sleep cute I was determined 165k. Looking back as things are though, I feel tabula rasa but positivity form the test. I was felicitous to pick up a appropriate draw which helped me get to the semifinals with cousin ease, and then funest to lose the hand, but it awfully balances out. And luck is a part of poker, concretely tournament poker. So inside and out I'm very just with how the Olympiad went. I be expedient be able to make some good videos out of some of the matches, too.
I also played some good golf in our time, shooting 97 on my banner time out in nearly a year
(good for me anyway!). The hold up was stunning, mid 70s and fine. It was a nice end to a good Memorial Day furlough. I hope all hands else's was good too.
